Ulrikaskolan is a F-6 school centrally located in Ulricehamn, right next to Lassalyckan and beautiful forest areas. The school currently has about 370 students from preschool class to grade 6. We offer leisure activities and have four departments distributed according to age mix, two for grades F-1 and two for grades 2-6.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of leisure teacher, you will be responsible for the leisure home activities together with your colleagues, which involves planning, implementing, following up, and systematically developing the pedagogical work. The departments have close collaboration with each other. During the school day, you will act as support for students' development and learning in various contexts as well as during break activities, which is a significant part of the leisure staff's assignment during school hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed teacher with a focus on leisure homes. It is advantageous to have qualifications to teach sports or other subjects.

You have experience working with children and youth in schools or community organizations. Experience working in leisure homes and knowledge of how to interact with children with different types of disabilities is also advantageous.

We are looking for a creative, structured employee who sees opportunities and preferably has problem-solving skills. You are attentive, creative, and quality-conscious, and you work systematically and collaboratively with your manager and colleagues.

As a person, you are independent, flexible, and have a professional approach towards students, guardians, colleagues, and others you meet in your professional role.
